why wont my hex spells show ? - Guild Wars Forums

Okay on my necro when i cast any hex spell ... life siphon, fainthaertedness, etc. they dont show in top right corner or anywhere. This only happens with my hex spells. I dont remember it being like this but is my setting of or something or is it always like this? Help pleas!

hex spells you cast on the enemy have never shown up on your current effects bar. That bar is only for enchantments and hexes that are on you, not the enemy. The only way to tell if an enemy is hexed is by the purple arrow pointing down on their lifebar =/

Yup, you got it.

The top corner is reserved for Enchantments, Conditions and Hexes that are on YOU. they can be put on you by yourself (ex. Death Nova, to do some damage when you die), by a teammate (ex. Monk uses Healing Breeze to heal you) or by an enemy (ex. Backfire to kick your ass when you start spell spamming)

Hexes that you cast on enemies are only visible to you by a little purple downward arrow on that enemies health bar. If your hex causes Health Degeneration, like life Siphon, and that hex is the most recent thing casted on that target, then their bar will turn purple as the health drops.
